Objectives To define and identify a range of grief responses. To explore the development of theories for working with grief To enhance strategies to recognize and mitigate your grief responses To practice Beig With skills Description This conversation with grief is designed to support providers in ‘being with' individuals experiencing grief, or as Alan Wolfelt calls it, Companioning. We are lucky to have the expertise of Gerard’s House, represented by Assistant Director, Maggie Boyle and Program Coordinator, Roxana Melendez, to help us explore this vulnerable topic. We hope to create a safe space to explore both the cognitive and emotional components of this work. This course provides 3 continuing education credits. Participants must attend the entire course to receive a certificate.
