Objectives After this workshop participants will be able to... Recognize nervous system responses to stress and overwhelm Describe the three components of a self-compassion practice Practice self-compassion in real time Write a self-compassion plan for daily practice Description This experiential course on resilience is designed to apply self-compassion as a tool to sustain purpose and engagement for providers. We will explore the three main components of self-compassion, including mindfulness, common humanity, and self-kindness. Participants will have the opportunity to practice in real time and build a daily plan that offers relief and connection rather than adding another item to their to-do list! Participants will leave feeling more peaceful and nurtured! This course provides 2 continuing education credits. Participants must attend the entire course to receive a certificate.
