Objectives To recognize suicidal behaviors To practice asking directly about suicide To map protective factors To develop a help-seeking plan Description This experiential course on Suicide Prevention is designed to offer providers specific and concrete responses for people presenting with suicide ideation. Participants will increase personal comfort with this difficult content and develop confidence in their ability to support individuals struggling with the hopelessness of suicidality. Best-practice models reflected in both SAMHSA and CDC material are key sources for this curriculum
