Service Description
Objectives To recognize thoughts, feelings, and behaviors of compassion drain To identify three areas of compassion resilience To name and practice self-compassion skills To leave feeling more peaceful in mind and body Description This experiential course on Compassion Resilience is designed to engage or re-engage providers in a self-compassion practice. We will delve into concepts of self-compassion including, mindfulness, common humanity, and self-kindness. We will explore cognitive, empathic, and physiological methods of reconnecting to ourselves. This includes self-regulatory practices that can be applied in work with clients. Participants will leave feeling more peaceful and hopefully, nurtured! This course provides 3 continuing education credits. Participants must attend the entire course to receive a certificate.
